Turn the TV or streaming device off and back on first; on supported smart TVs the app updates automatically, so a restart often picks up the fix. If it still fails, reset the app: open the sidebar, select Settings, then choose Reset, and sign back in with your Apple Account. Testing another device on the same Wi-Fi helps rule out a network problem.
