Most steps we recommend are low-risk by design: restarting a TV, unplugging it from power for a minute, or signing out of an app does not harm the device or delete your personal content. Factory reset is the exception — it erases installed apps, signed-in accounts, and settings, and guides that include it say so explicitly. Never open a TV's casing or handle its internal components; that is work for a qualified technician.

If your device is under warranty, check the manufacturer's terms before doing anything beyond basic steps, and prefer official support channels.
