Corrections Policy

Updated 2026-07-12

Menus move, firmware updates change behavior, and sometimes we simply get something wrong. This page explains how to report an error in a Zemivora guide and what happens after you do.

How to report an error

Email [email protected] with the guide's URL, what the guide says, and what your screen actually shows. Your TV model, the app involved, and the exact error code make verification much faster; a photo of the screen is even better.

What happens after a report

We reproduce the issue where possible and re-check the guide against its listed sources. If the report is confirmed, the guide is corrected — not quietly rewritten: the change is reflected in the guide's updated date.

If we can't confirm the report but can't rule it out either — for example, a menu path that differs on a specific model year — the guide is amended to describe the variation instead of asserting a single path.

How we date our updates

The updated date on a guide changes only for substantive edits: corrected facts, changed steps, new solutions, or removed advice that no longer works. Typo fixes and cosmetic edits don't bump the date, so a recent updated date always means the content itself changed.

Each guide also carries a last-reviewed date, which moves when we re-verify the guide against its sources even if nothing needed changing.

Scope

This policy covers factual errors in guides: wrong meanings, wrong menu paths, steps that don't work, or missing warnings before destructive actions. Requests for new guides are welcome too — send them through the same address — but they're handled as suggestions, not corrections.
