Xiaomi TVs — including Mi TV, Xiaomi TV A, A Pro, and Q series — run Google TV on recent models and Android TV on older ones, with Chromecast built-in across the range. In some regions Xiaomi adds its own PatchWall launcher on top. Most issues are the classic Android TV ones: Bluetooth remote pairing, Wi-Fi drops, and app crashes.

How do I pair a Xiaomi TV remote?+

Hold the Home and Menu buttons at the same time with the remote close to the TV (within about 10 cm / 4 inches) and follow the on-screen prompt — this is Xiaomi's official pairing method. If a remote was already paired, you can also add a new one from Settings → Remotes & Accessories (Peripherals and Bluetooth on some models).

Do Xiaomi TVs have Chromecast built-in?+

Yes. Xiaomi's Google TV and Android TV models include Chromecast built-in, so you can cast from compatible phone and tablet apps as long as both devices are on the same Wi-Fi network. Many models also support Miracast for screen mirroring.

Is my Xiaomi TV running Google TV or Android TV?+

Newer models (such as the Xiaomi TV A and A Pro ranges) ship with Google TV, while older Mi TV models run Android TV. Both are Android-based and share most fixes, but Google TV uses a recommendations-focused home screen and menus are arranged differently. Check Settings → System/About to see the software version.
